    Chemicals

Our chemical industry is a leader in international markets, but it has deal with the pressure of global competition at the same time. To survive in highly competitive markets means making permanent improvements to cost structures.

So energy efficiency is the key to the future.

With better energy efficiency, e.g. with optimally dimensioned and fitted insulation, we contribute to strengthening the market position of our customers in the chemical industry.

The chemical industry loses a lot of expensive energy via its tanks, plants, heat exchangers, pipelines, towers, fittings and pumps. We at KAEFER have the experience, the know-how and the qualified team to change that. Our offering ranges from thermal calculations to competent advice and on-site installation. On our buildings sites, health and safety and the professional handling of dangerous materials have top priority. Our customers can rely on that.

In addition to refining classical insulation techniques, our experts are always thinking of something new, in order to offer our customers in the chemical industry a perfect service: with repair systems for the renewal of cold insulation during ongoing operations, with energy audits, noise control measures and fire protection solutions, we provide operators with all services individually tailored to their needs and of the highest quality.

A good example of innovative systems is the PUR foam from KAEFER. This high-performance insulation is produced on site with mobile machinery for pouring or spraying. It is applied directly to pipelines and containers. The material is stable, self-supporting and adheres to almost any surface. With a temperature range from -180 °C to + 100 °C PUR foam can be used both as hot and cold insulation. Its extremely fast curing time and best ecological properties make it cost-effective and sustainable.

In chemical plants, uninterrupted and cost-effective operations almost always depend on the precision of thermal processes. With tailor-made insulation, we at KAEFER ensure that as little valuable energy as possible is lost when media are stored or transported from A to B.
