Interior insulation, with temperatures of around +1,000 °C, is one of the most demanding disciplines in the field of heat insulation. On the inside of flue gas ducts, for instance, extreme temperature fluctuations in alternating operations as well as aggressive exhaust and flue gases are very demanding on materials and constructions.
To meet these specifications our engineers have coordinated the materials used, the construction, the fastening technology and the casing so that the insulation is not damaged or its effectiveness compromised, even under the influence of flue gases and severe temperature fluctuations.
Flue gas duct – high-temperature-resistant fibre insulation is attached and protected against abrasion with sheet metal.
When we develop insulation systems for interior insulation we review the results of our precise calculations in extensive practical tests.
Customers from around the world make use of our know-how in this field and depend on KAEFER's high level of quality.
